I have a log file from each day’s web traffic, and would like to count how many hits there were. These are text files from past days. I am not an it person, and can’t really do programming. Would appreciate if someone could suggest an easy way to count my hits. Each hit is on a seperate line of the text files, so an ability to count the lines would work too. I tried pasting into excel (see how many rows it created), but there are more than 65,000+ each day (Excel’s limit). Thanks

Register with google analytics. its free. you can check how many hits you get per day.
