Users going to your page and reading your content may ignore the banner or rectangle at the top of the page, but may click on the ad at the bottom of the article
6. Smartpricing – the big unknown in Adsense. No one knows how this actually works. But it can affect the pricing of the ads on your site. If the advertiser paid for $0.50/click – but your site is smartpriced – then the cost may be discounted lower (e.g. $0.25). So you may try to develop a site based on high paying keywords but if smartpricing gets to you, then you may not get as much per click as what you are expecting from your keywords.

Experiment with the factors above (except smartpricing, which you can’t control), and see which combination works best. Remember though that not all sites do well with Adsense – even if you get gazillions of traffic but your visitors are not interested in looking for ways to spend their money, they won’t be interested in your ads and won’t click.

How Many Blog Posts Do I Need Until Google Adsense Will Put Some Ads On My Page?

Google WILL NOT automatically install Adsense ads into your website or blog.
To display Adsense on your blog, you must first go to https://www.google.com/adsense/ and register an account. It’s free to do, and requires your name, valid email address and website. Google will typically take a few days to review and approve your application, and then you will be free to use Adsense ads.
Once you’re approved, you must log into the Adsense Website with the user name you registered and create a new ad unit. To do this, click the tab that says “Adsense Setup”. The different types of ads are listed, starting with “Adsense for Content” – this is the most commonly used. Click on this link, and go through the process of designing a custom advert (including color, size, type, # of links to display).
Once you’ve completed the entire process you will be given an HTML code to copy and paste into the source of your website (there are different ways of doing this, depending on the blog service you’re using.) Then and ONLY then will the ads begin to display on your web site.
