I have a blog site at blogger.com and so far I only made about $2.00 on the google adsense which means that I’m only getting about 2 or 3 hits a day. I read in a magazine recently that there’s a lady who’s getting 5000 hits a day on her blog site. I would like to write a book in the form of several blog entries and just make cash from the adsense ads rather than publishing it as an ebook or paperback. How can I get 5000 hits/day besides spending money on advertising it?

Create great content. Everything starts with content. Give a reason why visitors will frequent your site. Why will they want to read your blog? Why will they want to spend their time in your blog? Provide value, useful information and other benefits to the readers.
As you have pointed out, you can’t earn from your blog if the blog does not have traffic. Getting traffic is going to be your biggest challenge.

well, without spending the money to advertize it…
first, it has to be something many people will want to read… I could never make money off of my writing, I’m a BAD writer…
next, people have to know about it to be able to read it, combined with wanting to read it…
so some kind of advertizing is needed… word of mouth, maybe start some kind of chain email… get it put in some kind of news paper article… it’s realy hard to get some thing like this started…
