I want to issue debit card from a private bank.The Card has VISA logo on it.
Can it be used in online purchasing?Can it be used for receiving payments from users(through paypal or other).
Is it better than credit card?

A debit card is never as good as a credit card due to not having the charge back safety and the $50 limit on fraudulent charges. Someone could clean out your account and it would take a lot of time and effort getting your money back in your account. That cannot happen with a credit card. India I have no knowledge about, but a debit is still a debit all over the world. I would NEVER have one of those liabilities.
