Try to do MBA in top business schools only.
Hi Jai,
Its good that u r planning to go for MBA programme, there are many good colleges where in you can pursue your MBA but it is suggest able that you write the national level management entrance examination such as CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA which can fetch you Top Business schools in india providing MBA/PGDM/PGP programmes having excellent academic and placement records.
Where as Business world is concerned during placements/jobs,they look for your knowledge (theoretical and practical) not the college from where you have studied.
For scoring well in your various entrance examination do try online mock and practise test on www.manegementcolleges.net
The best programs are listed in the Official MBA Guide. If this school is not listed, it does NOT mean it is not a good school. They simply may not know about the guide, in which case you may want to tell them. In any case, before you decide on an MBA program, consult the Official MBA Guide. It’s a comprehensive free public service with more than 2,000 MBA programs listed worldwide. It allows you to search for programs by location (US, Europe, Far East, etc.), by concentration (finance, marketing, aviation management, health management, accounting, etc.), by type of program (full-time, distance learning, part-time, etc), and by listing your own criteria and preferences to get a list of universities that satisfy your needs. Schools report their accreditation status, tuition cost, number of students, class sizes, program length, and a lot of other data. Schools provide data on entrance requirements, program costs, program characteristics, and much more. You can use the Guide to contact schools of your choice, examine their data, visit their web site, and send them pre applications. You can see lists of top 40 schools ranked by starting salaries of graduates, GMAT scores, and other criteria. It’s the best service available at http://officialmbaguide.org.
The SV University degree is a UGC recognised qualification and the MBA program u mention is a regular full-time MBA like any other UGC recognised degree. I recommend NDIIM in Hyderabad as it is a good B- School with a good record of placements
There are so many good distance learning institutes for MBA and Sikkim Manipal University of distance education is one of them. I am also doing my MBA from SMUDE and on my personal experience, I can say that SMUDE is much better than other institutes because SMUDE uses the latest edunxt technology to create a virtual classroom where you can interact with the faculty and students and thereby also network with other students, which is a unique and one of its kind feature amongst other colleges offering distance education. For the prospectus and speaking to their counselor you can register for free at http://bit.ly/smude
